Auto Repair FAQs

Do I Have the right to take my vehicle to the shop of my choice?

Insurance companies may recommend certain shops, but you have the right to choose the repair facility you trust. It is illegal for an insurance company to tell you where to get an estimate or have your vehicle repaired.


How soon can I bring my car in for repairs?

Give us a call at one of our 4 locations and we will schedule your vehicle for repairs as soon as possible. We do our best to accommodate all of our customers’ needs.


Do I need to contact more than one shop for an estimate?

No, you do not. Generally, only one estimate from the shop of your choice is required unless your insurance policy specifies otherwise. California law requires you be given a written estimate before repairs begin.


Do you offer any type of warranty with your repairs?

We provide a Lifetime Guarantee on all of our repairs for as long you own the vehicle.

Am I responsible for the cost of repairs?

Yes, you are usually responsible for payment to the repair facility unless your insurance policy specifies otherwise. Your insurance company will pay you for the loss minus applicable deductibles or depreciation. Any arrangements for payments by your insurance company are your responsibility.

My car is not drivable; can I have it towed to your shop?

Yes, you can. We offer 24-hour towing services through Golden Gate Tow Inc., which will get your car or truck to one of our 4 locations safely and securely.

Do you offer rental car services?

We have rental cars available on-site at each of our 4 locations through Enterprise Rent-A-Car®. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out more information about your rental coverage and any limitations.
